Welcome to Riverwind Poetry!
Living
in a river town is different. Ask anyone from Cincinnati, Ohio or Louisville, Kentucky. The river defines our boundaries, tells
our history, and gives us identity. It gathers us to its shores for boat races, ballgames, and bluegrass
festivals. When it floods it separates us from everything we love.
The
river also inspires poetry. While not all poems in this collection are about the Ohio River, they reflect its rhythm
and moods. And as the river flows to the sea, I hope my poetry will also carry the reader to bigger places.
